Many of our kids are involved in “all the things” and look to our community to provide monetary and leadership support of those activities. We also know that many local businesses are called on to write checks to support these endeavors. While we do not want our community to stop supporting, we simply want to incorporate “serving others” into the mix. It is our goal to bridge the gap between fundraising needs and serving our community. We will connect those in need with a “sponsored” local service project and enable them to “earn” the money they need for their mission trips, athletic equipment, club dues and even transportation to their events. We feel this is a crucial factor in life skills management, accountability and learning the true sense of community.
